JAMMU, June 28: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Uttam Chand today reviewed the security situation along the International Border (IB) areas of tehsil Akhnoor.
SSP Jammu accompanied by SP Rural Mohan Lal Kaith, SDPO Akhnoor Farooq Qaiser and SHO Khour Inspector Surinder Raina visited various areas of IB including Khour, Pallanwala and Pargwal.
SSP held interactions with the residents of International Border (IB) areas and listened to their issues.
He asked the people not to have fear as J&K Police and BSF guarding the IB are always at their disposal.
SSP Jammu also interacted with the police personnel deployed along with BSF on the IB and assured them that their all problems will be redressed at the earliest.
