JAMMU, Mar 28: SSP Railways Katra, Ranjit Singh Sambyal today inaugurated the building for Police Post GRP Ramnagar.
The building consists of Incharge Police Post Room, Investigation Officer Room, MHC Room and barracks for Jawans.
This building has been completely renovated while earlier it was abandoned and was in dilapidated condition.
SDPO Railways Udhampur, SHO Police Station GRP Udhampur, Incharge Police Post GRP Ramnagar and other officers and officials of GRP Udhampur were also present on the occasion.
Earlier railway cops were being accommodated in tents here.
A handout stated that after Police Post GRP Chakrakhwal, it is the second Police Post of GRP Katra which has been provided fully concrete building by GRP Katra.
The SSP assured the railway cops to put all his best efforts for their welfare.
