JAMMU, Nov 26: First Additional District Judge Jammu Ashwani Kumar Sharma has directed the SSP Crime Branch Jammu to conduct in-depth investigation into the deep-rooted conspiracy to grab the property of Panjvaktra Mahadev Temple.
The direction has been passed in an application filed by caretaker of temple Suresh Kumar Sharma (retired District and Sessions Judge).
“The instant application seeking direction for safeguarding the property belonging to the Panjvaktra Mahadev Temple is pending adjudication before the court from August 28, 2017 but without any disposal till date”, the First Additional District Judge said.
“I have gone through the application and the circumstances of the case. Since it has come in the application that a very deep rooted conspiracy to grab the temple property has been hatched and Jammu Smart City Limited had not sent any Detailed Project Report to the applicant for submitting same for consideration before the court and from the contours of emerging conspiracy, it is a mere tip of an iceberg”, the Judge said, adding “in these circumstances in-depth investigation by competent authority is necessary”.
Accordingly, court directed SSP Crime Branch Jammu to conduct in-depth investigation in the present case and submit the compliance report also. “The SSP before initiating any investigation will consult Suresh Kumar Sharma”, the court further said.
