Srinagar, June 12: SSP Awantipora Mohammad Yousuf today chaired a security review meeting at District Police Lines with all SDPOs, SHOs, In-charge PPs and In-charge PCs.
The SSP held a detailed discussion regarding the working of Awantipora Police on all fronts including enforcement of Covid protocol, security scenario, law and order, investigation, crime/complaints disposal, prosecution and other issues related to policing.
As per a statement issued here, a detailed discussion on the strengthening of the counter-insurgency grid was also held during the meeting. “He directed the officers to strengthen the security grid in their respective areas,” a police spokesperson said.
SSP also stressed upon all the participants to work in close tandem with security agencies and civil administration for better results.
He advised the participants to constitute multiple joint teams of Police and Civil administration for strict enforcement of COVID protocol. “Individuals found violating Covid appropriate behaviour be dealt under law,” he said.
During the meeting, it was also emphasized to strengthen the Police-Public relationship.
