JAMMU, May 6: The activists of Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) led by its general secretary, Subash Prashar and local Sarpanch, Shamboo Nath held a demonstration at Nagrota Khanpur against the construction of slaughter House there.
The protestors while raising slogans against the Government warned against the construction of the slaughter house as it will erode the sanctity in the area which is the first darshan of Kandoli Mata and send a wrong message among the pilgrims visiting the area.
Sena leader said besides there is a School, a temple and a village adjoining the slaughter house which has become a cause of concern for the people.
He warned that in case the authorities failed to revoke the decision and shift the slaughter house to another area, the people will be forced to launch agitation.
