JAMMU, May 28: Sri Sai Group of Institutions (SSGI) Badhani, Pathankot, has unveiled a new initiative called “Mission Sankalp,” aimed at offering education opportunities to students from Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds.
As per a statement, the program aims to provide admissions in graduate and undergraduate courses for aspiring individuals who lack the means to pursue higher education.
Speaking at a press conference here, SK Punj, Chairman of SSGI, highlighted the remarkable achievements of Sri Sai Group students in academics, sports, culture, and innovation.
He emphasized the institution’s commitment to supporting financially disadvantaged sections of society and extending a helping hand to parents and aspiring students through Mission Sankalp.
Tripta Punj, Managing Director of Sri Sai Group, also shared her thoughts on the moral and spiritual values instilled within the students within the college premises. She emphasized the importance of character development alongside academic growth.
As part of the initiative, Muktesh Yogi and Indu Raina have been appointed as the official admission coordinators for the J&K region.
Muktesh Yogi, speaking to the media, elaborated on the exclusive focus of Mission Sankalp on various distinguished courses.
He said the initiative aims to provide educational opportunities to students from J&K who possess a strong desire to study but face financial constraints.
“Sri Sai Group has already commenced registrations for admissions in their 10th or 12th batch across a range of courses, including polytechnic diploma, BBA, MBA, BTech, MTech, Hotel Management, and others,” Yogi said.
The press conference was attended by Ashwani Sharma, Tushar Punj, Pankaj Sharma, and other prominent members of Sri Sai Group.
