SSF trains women in stitching, other trades

JAMMU, Nov 25: Sarveshwar Smiles Foundation (SSF) organized 45 day learning programme for women in cutting and stitching with self-empowerment skills like financial literacy, organic farming etc at border villages of Suchetgarh.
The programme was inaugurated by Kunwarani Ritu Singh.
Pooja Guple Trustee of the Foundation in her welcome address highlighted the importance of training at border villages.
She also informed more stitching centers will be started in due course of time to create income generation activities so that family income of the women may increase substantially to fulfill the aspiration of PM’s Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The chief guest Ritu Singh in her address talked on importance of the training programme and its effective implementation for empowering women for their better livelihood.
She further suggested the participants to learn in the training with sincerity and dedication.
Sunita Kumari highlighted the course content and benefits there on.
Ashok Gupta in his address highlighted the importance of organic farming which can be done easily in the backyard of houses.
Dr. Rakesh Gupta and Dr. Gayatri Tandon also spoke on the occasion.
Naib Sarpanch Janak Raj, Nambardar Mohinder Kumar and Panch were also present during the training programme.
A handout stated that in coming days, Sarveshwar Smiles Foundation will work in remote areas for the upliftment of poor women.
