JAMMU, Aug 3: Student Scholar Council (SSC) was renamed today as Jammu Scholars’ Council (JSC) in a meeting of the Council held here today under the chairmanship of Parduman Singh, chairman of the Council.
During the meeting, Parduman Singh also announced the interim body of JSC. The interim body comprises of Kailash Mohan Sharma (general secretary), Asha Rani (spokesperson, Rajesh Sharma (financial secretary), Gagandeep Singh (secretary) and Vipan Lachotra (secretary).
Singh also announced that Jammu Scholars’ Council is soon going to announce the whole body which includes bureaucrats, politicians, scholars, retired judges, professors, writers, etc. He said that JSC will work for justice and development of Jammu division.
