JAMMU, Sept 2: A deputation of SSA/Grade II Teachers Forum, led by Younis Rahi, State President, called on J K Soodan, Joint Director (Trg), Rakesh Kumar Khajuria (Personal Officer DSEJ) and Chief Education Officer Jammu Sat Paul Sharma, regarding long pending issue of SSA Teachers.
The deputation demanded that 3 months pending salary of Grade-II teachers must be released in a time bound manner and their D A arrear may also be released.
Joginder Kumar Digra, State Gen Secy of the Forum requested the Personnel Officers DSEJ that pending orders of Grade-II and Grade-III teachers must be issued as these teachers have submitted replies of all the queries to the department.
Rashpaul Choudhary, District President requested Chief Education Officers to adjust all surplus teachers on vacant posts as the schools in rural areas were suffering a lot because of the shortage of teaching staff.
The deputation comprised of Gurjeet Singh, Naresh Kumar, Anju Saini, Sunita Devi, Raj Kumari, Surinder Singh Manhas, Vijay Kumar and Sunita Kumari
