JAMMU, July 23: Shiv Sena (SS) held a demonstration at Main Chowk Samba protesting against the hike in the rate of sugar for BPL families and demanded that the same be revoked immediately.
The demonstration was led by district president of Sena, Ramesh Gupta. The demonstrators also protested against the non delivery of kerosene oil in the district.
Raising slogans against the Government and Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department (FCS&CAD) they warned to intensify the agitation in case the decision was not revoked immediately.
