JAMMU, June 19: All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retirement Employees Association has threatened to observe a dharna and hold demonstration on June 24 if the Government does not concede their long pending demands.
An emergent meeting of the Association was held under the chairmanship of Dev Raj Bali for discussing further course of action over the demands, which include release of pending arrears, 6th Pay Commission benefits with effect from January 1, 2006 and interest on CP Fund.
The meeting was attended by D N Sharma, Balwinder Singh, Asan Elahi, Surat Singh, Surjit Singh and others.
