JAMMU, Apr 27: State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan asked State as well as Central Government to clear their stand over opening of AIIMS in Jammu within 10 days otherwise party members will sit on hunger strike from May 5, the day on which Civil Secretariat will open at Srinagar.
Rajiv Mahajan said this while addressing a meeting of party workers here today.
He further said due to geographical condition of J&K, there is a need of AIIMS in Jammu region so that people of the entire State could get benefit.
Mahajan added that SRS would continue its protest against the move to establish AIIMS in Kashmir instead of Jammu and appealed to the people and other political and social organisations including Bar and Transport Associations, Chamber of Commerce and Industries members to join the hunger strike.
