JAMMU, July 9: Shri Ram Sena (SRS), Jammu and Kashmir has strongly condemned the statement of former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah over Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Burhan Wani.
In a statement, SRS State President Rajiv Mahajan said that Omar Abdullah never said this while, he was himself Chief Minister of the State. Mahajan asked Omar Abdullah to refrain from making such statements.
He expressed concern that the mosques that are meant for remembering/praising God are being misused to flare communal tension as slogans for Azadi and in favour of dreaded militants resonate from the mosques through loud speakers. Mahajan demanded strict vigil on these activities in mosques and action against the culprits under law of the land.
Mahajan further demanded shoot at sight order be given to security agencies on stone pelters and those holding anti- national rallies.
He appealed to Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and Home Minister Rajnath Singh to rectify their policies about dealing with militants and traitors so that they cannot raise their head against the security forces, henceforth. Mahajan further appealed to Defence Minister and Home Minister to vest additional power to security forces to deal with anti- national elements with iron hand and if need arises to shot the miscreant dead.
