JAMMU, Feb 10: State president, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan has criticized State administration headed by Governor NN Vohra for harassing the student fraternity of Jammu division on the name of State Subject.
In a statement issued here today, Rajiv Mahajan said, “The future of some of the students of Jammu division has been put to halt by the unilateral decision of J&K BOPEE conducting the entrance examination for the year 2016- 2017 in various trades by demanding the State Subject certificate at the time of uploading the registration form for various exams.”
He said that the decision has been imposed from this year only though earlier the certificate was used to be demanded at the time of admission granted to the successful candidates.
He further said that even if some of the students have applied for PRC in Jammu district, same is not issued presently for want of issue by the competent authority and the delegation of powers in the DC Office.
“It has been a cause of concern to the parents of the students,” he said, adding the Governor should issue specific directions to the concerned department to provide relief to the students and their parents.
