JAMMU, Mar 21: Candidates of SRO-43 today staged a protest demonstration demanding jobs for which they have applied some years back.
“I have applied for a job under SRO 43 before some three-four years but there is no development in this regard so far,” Deepak Sharma-one of the protesters informed.
He said that there are some 1200 such candidates who are awaiting jobs under SRO 43 but the authorities are doing nothing in this regard.
Another protester informed that SRO 43 jobs are given to one of the family members of a Government employee who dies while on duty.
The protesters urged upon the J&K Lieutenant Governor to look into the matter so that they may heave a sigh of relief.
