JAMMU, Mar 8: Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee (SRMWC) Jammu honoured nearly 25 social and religious organizations of Jammu and Kashmir in a function organized at Ranbireshwar Temple, Shalamar Road, Jammu.
These social/religious organizations had actively participated in Shiv Barat on the eve of Mahashivratri celebration. The Committee honoured them to encourage them further to participate in religious and other social activities.
Mahant Shri Shri 108 Rishiban ji Maharaj was the chief guest on the occasion along with other personalities. All the office bearers of the Committee were also present.
On the occasion, Mahant Shri Shri 108 Rishiban ji Maharaj delivered motivational lecture to the volunteers of social and religious organizations on the life of Lord Shiva.
Omkar Sharma, Nandi ji and Anubhav Suri of SRMWC lauded the efforts of all social and religious organizations to make Shiv Barat a grand success.
Sunil Sharma of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti, Jammu Kashmir was also honoured on the occasion for his excellent service in the field of social and religious service including Shiv Barat Shobha Yatra.
Among others present on the occasion were Amit Gupta, Raj Kumar Gupta, Advocate Kapil Sharma and Ajay Kumar.
