SRMWC discusses modalities for Shiv Barat on eve of Shivratri

JAMMU, Dec 14: Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee (SRMWC) convened a meeting of prominent citizens and business organizations of Jammu to discuss the modalities for Shiv Barat (Shobha Yatra) to be organized on the eve of Maha Shivratri festival in the first week of March 2016.
The meeting was chaired by Mahant of the Temple Shri Rishi Ban Ji Maharaj whereas Advocate Jyoti Sarup Mishra presided over.
On the occasion, Mahant Rishi Ban sought co-operation of all the business organizations in making Shoba Yatra a grand success and appealed all trade organizations and prominent citizens to be part of this Shobha Yatra. He appealed traders bodies of old Jammu city to decorate their markets with gates, buntings and lights to welcome Shiv Barat.
Speaking on the occasion, spokesperson and legal advisor of the committee Advocate Jyoti Sarup Mishra said that in the first week of March a grand Shobha Yatra of Lord Shiva (Shiv Barat) will be jointly organized by Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee and Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust in Jammu.
In the meeting representatives of various organizations viz. President RBBA (Raghunath Bazar Businessman Association) Baldev Khullar, president Bajrang Dal J&K Rakesh Sharma, President Kranti Dal Pritam Sharma, president ( Shiv Sena) Ashwani Gupta, president  Langar Committee Malerkotla ( Jammu Branch) Sachin Jain,  Arjun Gupta ( general secretary Rajinder Bazar Traders Association), Prem Gupta ( president Bakshi Nagar Traders Association), Sukhbir Kohli ( President Central Jain Bazar Shopkeepers Association), Brijraj Singh (Security Officer Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust  and others took part and assured Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee to help them in making this Shobha Yatra a grand success and also gave their valuable suggestions for making Yatra a memorable event.
