Srinagar gets 2 more J&K Bank ATMs

Srinagar, Sept 1: Continuing with its endeavor to provide the people an easy access to cash and other banking services, J&K Bank today commissioned two more Automated Teller Machines (ATM) in Srinagar, one each at Old Fateh Kadal and Palpora Sonwar.
The bank’s Zonal Head Kashmir Central I, Srinagar Syed Rais Maqbool inaugurated both the teller machines in presence of Cluster Heads, Shabir Ahmad and Riyaz Ahmad Wani.
On the occasion, Zonal Head Kashmir Central-I said that the opening of the ATMs was aimed at providing easy and accessible banking services to the people near their doorstep. He said the commissioning of ATMs will help in thinning out rush in the branches which is quite desirable in the context of current pandemic.
With these two ATMs, the total number of such machines in the country has gone up to 1369.
