JAMMU, Mar 25: Gaurav Pachnanda, Senior Advocate, has been fast-tracked by the Bar Standards Board of United Kingdom, and appointed a Barrister in England and Wales.
After being granted an unconditional exemption from all academic and vocational components of qualification and training, Gaurav Pachnanda was called to the Bar at a formal ceremony at the Middle Temple London, earlier this week.

However, a complete and unconditional exemption from the academic and vocational components of qualification and training is granted only in exceptional cases, based upon assessment of a particular lawyer’s body of work, professional experience and expertise in law. In 2013, Harish Salve Senior Advocate was also similarly fast-tracked to the English bar.

He a son of the soil and the elder son of late Dr V K Pachnanda, the founder Professor and Head of Department of Orthopaedics at Government Medical College, Jammu.
