s1Born on July 23, 1990, Yuzvendra Singh Chahal is a young Indian cricketer, who plays for Haryana in domestic cricket. He is a right-arm leg spinner and bowls googlies usually and is a tail-ender right-handed batsman. Chahal made his First-Class debut against Madhya Pradesh  on Novemeber 3, 2009 at the age of 19 years. He has only played 14 First-Class matches till now and has taken 26 wickets with best figures of 4/22. He has also played 17 List-A matches and has taken 21 wickets with an average of 20.61 with 6/24 as his best figures. He has also played 36 T20 matches and has taken 30 wickets with best figures of 3/11. He has not been consistent in playing FC matches but has performed well on other stages including IPL. He was first selected for Mumbai Indians in 2011 and played with them for three years. He earned name when he became the part of Mumbai Indian squad which won the Champions League last year. He was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL-7. He mainly came into limelight when he earned man of the match award against Delhi Daredevils in the ongoing IPL and also being taking regular wickets featuring himself in top wicket-takers. He has taken wickets of big guns including the likes of Virender Sehwag etc. He has also represented India in International Chess at Junior Level. He is the only player to represent India in chess and cricket. His name is listed in FIDE’s official site. He is an emerging young talent.
