JAMMU, July 14: A Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir Police was injured when his motorcycle was hit by a Tata Mobile in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Chowki Choura Police Post, police sources said.
The injured was identified as Subash Chander, son of Krishan Lal, a resident of Narra Chowki Chora District Jammu. He was posted in Police Station Akhnoor.
The driver of the Tata Mobile identified as Peer Mohammad of Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu has been arrested.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
