Srinagar : A Special Police Officer (SPO) fled along with two Ak-47 rifles and ammunition from Chadoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The SPO identified as Altaf Hassan son of Ghulam Hassan Bhat, posted at SOG Camp Chadoora has gone missing along with two Ak-47 rifles and three magazines of Ak-47 from the camp last night.
It was not immediately known whether the SPO has joined any militant group.
Meanwhile, Police have launched a massive manhunt to trace out the missing SPO and investigations are on.
