SAMBA, Dec 12: A Special Police Officer (SPO) was crushed to death by a train at Ghagwal Station in Samba district this afternoon.
According to Police, SPO Sardari Lal slipped on railway track and came under Swaraj Express in Ghagwal area which was on its way from New Delhi to Jammu. He was crushed to death on the spot.
Lal’s body was later recovered and handed over to his family after postmortem. The Ghagwal Police has registered a case in this regard.
