Specially abled students get financial aid

JAMMU, July 20: Keeping the ideals of, philanthropy of Red Cross Society,  the Red Cross Committee of Government  MAM College Jammu provided the specially abled students of the institute with cheques of their total admission fee. The entire fee paid by the students during their 4th Semester was refunded to them.
In total, five visually impaired but promising students of the institutes were felicitated in a small ceremony organized by the Red Cross Committee under the convenorship of Dr  Romesh Gupta. The entire event was witnessed by Secretary Red Cross and Senior Consultant, Red Cross Jammu.
The Head of the institution,  Prof.  Romesh Chander  presided over the function and distributed the cheques among the students along with  Dinesh Gupta and Dr  Rajinder Thappa.
Other faculty members, who were present on the occasion, included Dr  S C Sharma, Dr  Vishal Sharma, Dr  Koushal Kiran, Dr  Heera Saini, Dr  Richa Gupta and  Dr  Mohd  Ashfaq Khan.
