JAMMU, Oct 20: Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today kick started various developmental works including upgradation of lanes and drains in Greater Jammu area.
He was accompanied by officers of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
While speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta, directed the concerned officers of the executing agency to complete the works in a time bound manner while maintaining quality of works. He also asked the people of the area to avail the benefits of various schemes of the Government.
While interacting with the Speaker, people of the area putforth various demands related to power, water supply and repair and maintenance of roads etc.
Responding to the demands of the locals, Kavinder Gupta assured them that their genuine demands would be redressed on priority basis.
