JAMMU, June 26: Further widening chinks between the ruling coalition partners, PCC president Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz today alleged that a National Conference Minister was pressurizing the administration to be step motherly towards Congress workers.
While addressing a public rally at Dawar in Gurez valley today, Prof Soz accused the local administration of being partial under the pressure of Nazir Ahmad Gurezi, who is MoS Animal Husbandry (Independent charge) and local MLA.
He labeled this allegation while quoting former MLA Faqeer Mohd Khan and others, who were also present on the occasion.
The PCC president was accompanied by Minister for Health & Medical Education Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Raja Faqeer Mohd Khan, Ex MLA Gurez, Usman Majeed, Ex Minister, senior leader, Abdul Gani Khan, district president Srinagar, Block presidents Abdul Gaffar Lone, Gh Mohi Din Lone and others.
Assuring fair deal to all people, including those who are associated with the Congress party, Prof Soz announced that all Congress Ministers would visit Gurez valley at regular intervals and sit with the people for redressal of their difficulties.
The open allegation by PCC president against NC Minister has been labeled amidst reports that State unit of Congress is strongly opposing any pre-poll alliance with National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir where Assembly elections are approaching nearer.
On this occasion, Prof Soz also sanctioned Rs 25.00 lakh out of his MP LAD for developmental works to be identified by the D C Bandipura.
On the occasion, Taj Mohi-ud-Din announced that an Anesthetist would be deputed to Sub District Hospital Gurez. He also assured to provide two ambulances 4X4 within a week’s time and sanctioned three sub centers for Gurez and Tulail Valleys.
Those who addressed the gathering, included Usman Majeed, Abdul Gani Khan, Abdul Gaffar Lone, Gh Mohi Di Lone and others.
Earlier, late last night, Prof Soz, and Taj Mohi-ud-Din held a four-hour long meeting with Congress party workers in Gurez and Tulail valleys. They listened patiently to the details regarding their grievances in respect of discrimination against Congress party workers.
