srinagar, Aug 27: Former Union Minister and PCC president Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz met the people from Mir Behri and adjoining areas during tour and listened to their problems.
Accompanied by PCC senior vice president Mohd Muzaffar Parray, former Minister Khem Lata Wakhloo, Abdul Ghani Khan district president, Dr Sayeed, Aga Mohsin and others, Prof Soz paid extensive visit to the sites of Dal dwellers and listened to their problems regarding poor sanitation, health care and road connectivity.
Prof Soz expressed his anguish and dismay over the shocking situation and alleged that these people have been left to lead miserable life. He assured the delegations to take up their issues with the LAWDA officials and Minister for Environment and Forest. He opined that State Cabinet should discuss the issue and find ways and means to resolve the sufferings of the Dal dwellers as their future was connected with the lake.
