Soybean futures up on positive global cues

NEW DELHI, Aug 7: Soybean prices traded higher by Rs 17 to Rs 3,382 per quintal in futures trade today on the back of encouraging overseas leads.
Marketmen said tracking firm global cues, participants raised their holdings, which caused uplift in soybean futures prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean for November gained Rs 17, or 0.51 per cent, to Rs 3,382 per quintal, depicting an open interest of 23,710 lots.
The delivery for October edged up by Rs 15, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 3,391 per quintal, open interest stood at 53,800 lots. (PTI)
