JAIPUR, June 15:
Congress President Sonia Gandhi will pay a brief visit to Rajasthan on June 20.
A party spokesman said tentatively, Ms Gandhi is scheduled to visit Suratgarh in Ganganagar and Jayal in Nagaur district on Thursday next week.
While the ruling party supremo will inaugurate seventh unit of the Suratgarh Supercritical Thermal Power station in Suratgarh, she would launch a drinking water scheme in Jayal.
In anticipation of Ms Gandhi’s visit, the ruling party state unit has put off the eleventh lag of its ongoing Sandesh Yatra that was scheduled to cover Nagaur-Marwar region between June 21 and 23, the spokesman said. (UNI)
