Sonia hospitalised after infection in respiratory tract

NEW DELHI, Dec 18:
Congress president Sonia Gandhi was tonight admitted to Sir Ganga Ram hospital after suffering from  infection in the lower respiratory tract, hospital sources said.
She is, however, stable but under observation.
A spokesperson of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital told UNI that Ms Gandhi was admitted to the hospital at 2030 hrs. “She is under going treatment for the lower respiratory tract infection. Her health is being monitored by a team of doctors headed by Dr Pradeep Kumar Basu. She is stable but under observation,” the spokesperson said. (AGENCIES)
