JAMMU, Jan 20: A 14-year-old boy was killed and his parents injured in a road mishap in RS Pura area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a speeding bus which was on its way from RS Pura to Jammu today hit a bike coming from opposite side at Kotli Shah Dulla. He said in the mishap, bike rider Manohar Lal son of Milkhi Ram of Tinde Kalan and pillion rider, Rita Devi (his wife) got injured while another pillion rider, Lavish Choudhary (his son) was killed.
He said injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment while body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital. “In this connection, a case FIR No 10/2019 under Sections 279/337/304-A RPC was registered at police station RS Pura and further investigations started,” the official added.
