SRINAGAR: A soldier of Territorial Army (TA) was killed by unidentified gunmen in south Kashmir in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, official sources said here today.
They said Gowhar Ahmad Mattoo, a soldier of TA and a former surrendered militant, was shot at and critically wounded when some unidentified gunmen fired upon him at Khudwani.
He was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
A massive hunt has been launched to nab the gunmen, they said adding no militant outfit has claimed responsibility so far. (AGENCIES)
