RAMBAN, Apr 18: A soldier allegedly shot himself dead with his service rifle inside army camp at Ukhral here.
As per police sources, sepoy Hanuman Choudhary was on sentry duty when he shot himself with his service rifle at his army camp in Ukhral area around midnight.
The body has been handed over to army authorities after completing legal formalities.
Inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Ukhral Police.
