Srinagar, Nov 9: A soldier was killed on the Line of Control (LoC) early today when a fire hut of the troops caught fire in Nowgam sector of North Kashmir.
The Army troops were sleeping in a fibre hut in Nowgam sector when it caught fire charring to death one solider identified as Sepoy Manu Singh. Another solider received minor burn injuries in the mishap. The cause of the fire is said to the kerosene heater.
