POONCH, Jan 16: An Army soldier was killed while another was injured after an Army vehicle plunged into a gorge in Kosallian area of Poonch district today.
Official sources said that a water tanker of the Army met with an accident near Chira Walla Morh at about 3:45 pm in which two soldiers were critically injured. Both of them were taken to nearby MI Room of the concerned Unit for immediate treatment and later shifted to Army Hospital Poonch but the driver of the vehicle succumbed to the injuries, while another is under treatment in a stable condition.

Station House Officer Poonch, Inspector Deepak Pathania confirmed the incident and identified the deceased soldier (Driver) as Pritam Singh and injured soldier as Abdul Manan.
