JAMMU, July 2: Former MLA Mansoor Hussain Sohrawardy has been appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board while Syed Mohammad Baqir Rizvi, MLA Zanskar, has been appointed as Vice-Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
Consequent upon their appointment, Vice-Chairman Baqir Rizvi shall have the status of a Minister of State while Vice-Chairman Mansoor Hussain Sohrawardy shall be entitled for a consolidated amount of Rs 80, 000 per month as salary besides official transport and accommodation facilities.
Separate Government orders in this regard were issued today.
