JAMMU, Sept 2: Senior Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) leader and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sobat Ali Choudhary here today started tile and drain work in Peerbagh Colony and Azad Colony in Sunjwan area of Ward number 74.
Speaking on the occasion Sobat Ali said that soon his tenure as a Councillor shall be over but before that he will ensure that all the developmental works in the Ward are completed properly.
He asked the people of his Ward to use the services of door-to-door moving autos for garbage disposal and avoid throwing household wastes here and there.
The Councillor said that people of his Ward may contact him anytime in case of problems related to sanitation, lanes-drains, street lights etc.
He said that all should work united for making the city clean and tidy by ensuring cleanliness in each and every Ward.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were retired army officer Shuket Ali, Raj Rattan Singh, Suraj Singh, Haji Hakam Din, Sadiq Ali, Sachin Verma, Jaffer, Bashir Ahmed, Rashid Ahmed, Supervisor Parvaiz Ahmed, Supervisor Haroon and senior citizens of the area.
