JAMMU, July 22: Sant Nirankari Mandal (SNM) today organised a voluntary blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Bhawan, Domana in the memory of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji.
The camp was inaugurated by Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Sham Lal Sharma.
While inaugurating the camp, the Minister said that Nirankari Mission is the highest blood donor organization in India and is providing selfless services for the benefit and welfare of mankind. He described the camp an important step towards the service of society.
Devotees of all ages voluntarily donated their blood to serve the mankind. A total of 160 units of blood was donated in the camp, which was collected by Blood and Transfusion Department, GMC, Jammu.
Other dignitaries presented on the occasion were, Director, Health services, Dr Madhu Khullar, Director, NHRM, Dr Yashpal Sharma, Dr Raman Kapoor and Dr Farooq, Blood and Transfusion Department, GMC, Jammu.
