JAMMU, May 14: Shikha Niketan Higher Secondary School (SNHSS) paid homage to its founder Principal Lt Dev Dutt Mengi on his 32nd death anniversary by observing the day as Shanti Divas, today.
On this occasion, Shanti Path was observed by the staff members and the students. Rameshwar Mengi, Principal of the school dedicated himself to the services of the great soul and threw light on the noble deeds of his beloved father Lt Dev Dutt Mengi. Further, Shabad Kirtan was presented by the students.
At the end, the in charge of the school Nirmal Sharma gave the message to the students pertaining to the ideas and thoughts of the great personality which makes the students to follow the path of the hard work and truth.
In the end, all the teachers and the students paid tribute and homage with flowers and prayed that may the soul rest in eternal peace.
