KATHUA, Feb 28: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF) organized a voluntary blood donation camp here at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Dayalachak.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Department of Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, District Hospital Kathua, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS.
In the camp, 84 units of blood were donated by the devotees of the Mission. The camp was inaugurated by Kuldeep Raj, MLA Hiranagar, who while speaking on the occasion stressed for blood donation.
Other dignitaries presented in the camp were Dr Sonia from Blood Bank, GMC Jammu, Dr Uttra, Blood Bank, Kathua, Ashish, Executive Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Kathua besides Tarsem Lal Mukhi, Vijay Sanchalak and several prominent citizens of the town.
Ajit Singh, Zonal incharge, Sant Nirankari Mission, mentioned about other social welfare activities of the Mission. Later, a satsang programme was also held in the premises of Satsang Bhawan.
