SNCF donates 88 units of blood

JAMMU, Apr 1: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a voluntary blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, RS Pura, where 88 units of blood were donated by the devotees of the Mission.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Gagan Bhagat, MLA RS Pura, in the presence of Dr Kajal (from Blood Bank, GMC Jammu) and several prominent citizens of the town.
While speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that blood donation is a good cause which can save many lives in emergency. He also inaugurated the construction work of lane adjoining the Satsang Bhawan.
Ajit Singh, Zonal incharge, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, said that though basically the Mission is a spiritual movement, it has been making a significant contribution towards social welfare activities also. He also mentioned about other social welfare activities of the Mission.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Department of Government Medical College, Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS.
