KATRA, May 8: The School of Computer Science & Engineering, SMVDU has started training on cloud technologies for the B Tech/M Tech students in association with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Academy.
The SMVDU students will benefit from the cloud, machine learning, and analytics education through the AWS Academy program which will also help the university to build a sustainable pool of talent equipped with IT skills critical to its development, particularly with the knowledge of designing, building, and maintaining the cloud, said Dr Naveen Kumar Gondhi, Coordinator, AWS Academy@SMVDU.
He also gave an introduction to the students and motivated them to pursue AWS International Certification after training at SMVDU. The AWS Academy will enhance the B Tech/M Tech Course in Engineering by providing, a ready-to-teach cloud computing curriculum that prepares students to pursue the most important certifications related to the industry, and employment in in-demand and coveted positions.
Prof R K Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, Dr Ajay Kaul, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, and Dr Baijnath Kaushik, Head, SoCSE, said that the initiative will bridge the gap between industry and the academia.
