JAMMU, Mar 23: Dr Azher Jameel, Assistant Professor, Depa-rtment of Mech-anical Engin-eering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra attended the 19th International Conference on Theoretical and Computational Mechanics (ICTCM-2017) held at London, United Kingdom from 14th -15th March, 2017.
Dr Azher Jameel presented a paper entitled “Effect of Inclusions on the Shape and Size of Crack Tip Plastic Zones by Element Free Galerkin Method” at ICTCM-2017. He also interacted with several academicians and researchers from different parts of the world.
The conference was organized to attract leading experts from academia and industries across the globe and eminent experts from different countries which include USA, Japan, South Korea, China, and India were participated in the conference for the deliberation and discussion on the latest developments in the field of Computational Mechanics during the conference. The visit was fully supported by SMVD University.
