JAMMU, Dec 27: Dr Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra delivered an invited talk entitled “Modelling Queues with Customers’ Impatience” in a National Conference on Advances in Mathematical Sciences (NCAMS-2016) at Department of Mathematics, NSCBM Government College, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh.
Dr Rakesh Kumar discussed the basics and applications of queuing theory. He discussed the recent advances in queuing models with customers’ impatience.
He presented his recent work on retention of impatient customers in queuing systems facing customers’ impatience. He also chaired one technical session in the conference.
