JAMMU, Oct 24: The Social Movement of India (SMI) on the conclusion of their three day national seminar on the issue of “How can Aboriginal Indigenous Indians viz SCs, STs, OBCs and Converted Minorities, constitute over 90% of the total population, be brought on a single platform to achieve their ultimate objective of ‘Change of Socio – Religious System’ in India”, in a press conference today stressed that no stone would be left unturned to unite all the victims of this socio-religious system throughout the country.
The SMI office bearers told that total 1178 delegates i.e. 459 delegates from 22 different States and 719 delegates from 13 districts of J&K State participated in this National Convention.
The convention had three sessions from on October 21 and 22 and two sessions on October 23, 2016 i.e. total eight sessions on different topics related to the Phuley-Shahu-Ambedkrite Movement and the total thrust was on the finding of a solution for emancipation of the Mulnivasi Bahujans in India from “Manuwadi Socio-Religious System”.
The SMI expressed that an organization with Phuley-Ambedkrite ideology must lead the movement to confront against this Manuwadi system. They added that a revolution is the need of the present times which must be created to ultimately crush the present Socio-Religious system. Otherwise, the future generations of the Aboriginal Indigenous Indians would go on suffering for no fault of theirs for all times to come.
Prominent amongst those who attended the Press Conference were Master Dharam Paul (Chief Patron), Gurdas Bhagat (National President), Hem Chand Chouhan (National general secretary), Ajit Kumar Vashishath (J&K State president), Hem Raj Phonsa (prominent social activist), Des Raj Yadav (Retd Commandant), Madan Lal, Dayal Singh, Dheeraj Thapa, Dr Jeet Raj Bazala, Sarwan Kumar Kundal, Bansi Lal Chargotra, Jai Paul, Purshotama Kumari, Ajay Jagotra, Bharat Bhushan, Kanwarjeet Sethi and Ashok Kumar Basotra.
