JAMMU, May 16: MLA and Senior Vice President NC, S S Slathia, today laid foundation stone for construction of Gurudwara Sahib at Koulpur in Vijaypur which will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 2 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that these religious structures have greater relevance in today’s era of chaos and confusion where we can get peace of mind for a while. “Temples, Gurudwaras, Mosques, Churches and other religious places provide us an opportunity to introspect and better ourselves for society’s good”, he maintained.
Slathia said the Jammu and Kashmir is a State of unique and composite culture where people live in complete peace and harmony, adding that addition in such revered structures would further strengthen the spiritual and religious profile of the State.
