SAMBA, Dec 10: Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur, Surjeet Singh Slathia today inaugurated Community Facility Centre (CFC) at Jhang Ramgarh in Vijaypur constructed by Rural Development Department which has been completed at the cost of Rs.17.50 lakh for convenience of the people of the area.
Addressing the gathering, Slathia said that that Omar led Coalition Government is committed to provide all the basic amenities in remote and far off pockets like road connectivity, power and water supply, medicare, education, etc. He said that State and Centre Government have launched number of development schemes to uplift the socio-economic status of the people particularly living in the rural and far flung areas. He said that the state has witnessed tremendous development during the last five years. He asked the people to strengthen the hands of the Government to take forward the developmental activities.
Among others Panchs and Sarpanchs and district officers of various departments were present on the occasion.
