‘Slash fees for free hold rights in Trikuta Nagar’

JAMMU, Jan 11: Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society here today in a meeting chaired by Rajinder P. Kakkar, Society President demanded slashing of fees for free hold rights to Trikuta Nagar residents.
Speakers in the meeting said that Board of Directors of Urban & Housing Development Department have approved free hold rights in favour of Trikuta Nagar residents with condition of Rs. 40,000 per marla while in Channi Himmat colony it is Rs. 5000 per marla.
“The lease hold rights of Trikuta Nagar colony have still 60 years time. As per calculations the fees should be Rs. 2000 per marla,” the speakers in the meeting said.
The Society appealed to K.K Sharma, Advisor to the Governor for review of the case and issue directions to slash the fees of free hold rights in favour of Trikuta Nagar residents.
