JAMMU, Feb 18: Placement Cell of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences, Jammu (SKUAST-J) organized interaction programme for the students with UDAAN Cluster Head National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) Anees Qureshi at University Campus today.
The students from the faculty of Agriculture, faculty of Veterinary Sciences, School of Agri-Business Management and School of Biotechnology participated in the interaction programme.
Anees Qureshi gave an overview of UDAAN Scheme implemented by NSDC, Government of India for the youth of J&K for their skill up-gradation and support in placements. About 43 corporate houses are partners in UDAAN scheme. The students were guided for online registration at UDAAN portal. The student’s queries were also addressed by Anees Qureshi.
Head of Placement Cell, Prof Vinod K Wali, members of the University Placement Cell including Dr Rajinder Peshin, Dr Manish Sharma and Dr Sachin Gupta were also present.
Meanwhile, Co-ordinator Agri-Business Management School Prof Jyoti Kachroo along with the faculty also interacted with the representatives of NSDC.
