SKK Divyang shines in BOSE’s 11th exam

JAMMU, August 1: The Deaf & Dumb students of the Samaj Kalyan Kendra Jammu (SKK) run School have excelled in the 11th class examination the result of which was declared by the J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) recently.
The pass percentage of the Divyang students is hundred. This is the fourth consecutive examination conducted by the BOSE in the session 2021-22 when the School has achieved cent percent result, despite the students being speech and hearing handicapped. All the 15 Divyang students who appeared in the 11th class examination have been declared successful.
While the School topper is Kumari Arshia Gandotra who secured 87.2 percent marks, two other students too secured above 80 percent marks each, five above 70 percent and remaining seven above 63 percent marks.
In a rare achievement, all the 13 deaf and dumb students have passed the 12th class examination with distinction. This was an unprecedented achievement of the school where the NGO is imparting education absolutely free of cost with incentive of reimbursement of semester fee in case any of the alumni joins for higher education courses.
President of the SKK, KB Jandial, office bearers and members of the governing body congratulated the students in the 11th class and commended the cumulative efforts of the students, their parents, teachers and the Principal that made continuously exceptionally good results in all Board exams this year.
